The health and wellbeing of members, exhibitors, staff, and other stakeholders is our top priority. Due to the growing concern around the coronavirus (COVID-19), and in alignment with the best practices laid out by the CDC, WHO, and federal and local governments, CFMA has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 CFMA Annual Conference & Exhibition. ICCIFP Achieves ANSI Accreditation for CCIFP® Designation

July 2, 2014 – Princeton, NJ – The Institute of Certified Construction Industry Financial Professionals (ICCIFP) announces achievement of accreditation from the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) for the Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) designation.

The CCIFP designation establishes the standards for construction financial professionals by giving special recognition to those who demonstrate skill and proficiency in their field, verified through advanced education, professional experience, and rigorous examination. The designation enjoys endorsements from CFMA, CICPAC, IRMI, NASBP, and other well-respected construction industry groups.

ANSI, in its role as the only accreditor of U.S. voluntary consensus standards developing organizations, helps to ensure the integrity of the standards developers. The ANSI process serves all standardization efforts in the United States by providing and promoting a process that withstands scrutiny, while protecting the rights and interests of every participant.  Recognized both nationally and internationally as the hallmark of a quality certification program, ANSI also actively engages in accrediting programs that assess conformance to standards – including globally-recognized cross-sector programs like the ISO 9000 (quality) management system.

Joselin R. Martin, CCIFP, current ICCIFP Chairman, states, “As we celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the first CCIFP examination, this significant achievement is a timely one, and we look forward to meeting ongoing ANSI standards. Accreditation enhances the value of the CCIFP designation and elevates the position of our certified persons as the most valued financial professionals in the construction industry.”

ICCIFP is a national, not-for-profit corporation established in 2003 to promote the highest standards of construction financial management through the credentialing of construction financial professionals. Dedicated to advancing excellence and best practices in construction financial management, the CCIFP designation is the only industry-recognized certification that a financial professional truly knows the unique business of construction.
