Ellis Talton is the Vice President of New Market Strategies at Briq where he is responsible for evaluating the application of emerging technologies and their use in construction. Briq is an AI-based automation platform that helps construction companies scale their financial and operational business processes through intelligent workflow automation, all in the effort to reduce overhead costs, stop profit fade, and enhance profitability. Ellis is an Alabama native but is based in Santa Barbara, CA. He was an early member of the Briq team and has spent his career writing about the intersection of technology and the built environment. He has been published on Forbes, Construction Executive, Industry Dive, The Energy Year, and many other industry publications.

In his free time, he can be found on the tennis court or exploring the mountains around the beautiful Central Coast of California.
