The health and wellbeing of members, exhibitors, staff, and other stakeholders is our top priority. Due to the growing concern around the coronavirus (COVID-19), and in alignment with the best practices laid out by the CDC, WHO, and federal and local governments, CFMA has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 CFMA Annual Conference & Exhibition. ICCIFP Administrative Update

It’s been more than six months since the Institute’s Past Chairman and 2018 Vision & Leadership Award recipient, Bob Biehl, volunteered to head up the effort to recruit a new executive Director. In partnership with then Chairman Chuck Elyea, they identified and hired our new Executive Director, Veronica Whitehead. Administration of the Institute is more complex than it might appear, and with great initiative Veronica rolled up her sleeves, jumped in, and started making things happen.

The relationship between the Institute and CFMA has always been a mutually beneficial one. However, during the past six months, the ICCIFP has focused on strategically strengthening that partnership that has resulted in increased support and commitment to growing both organizations to better serve all stakeholders.

Certification is the cornerstone of the ICCIFP. One of the most important reasons to earn the CCIFP designation is that it places one ahead of the competition. To be productive in a career, it is important to remain current in all the technologies and regulations that affect a profession.

Continuous learning provides a knowledge base that will make you an asset to your organization far into the future. This is only one area where the Institute and CFMA are key drivers.

As the current Chairman for the Institute, a longtime member and past Chairman of CFMA, I can personally attest to the value of CCIFP certification, and the growth in communication and collaboration between both key organizations.

We are excited to forge ahead with new leadership at the Institute and are committed to moving the Institute into the future with the continued dedication of the ICCIFP leadership, committees and chairs, and the CFMA officers and staff.

It has been my experience during my many years of CFMA/ICCIFP involvement that both organizations always rise to the occasion!
