WANTED:     Applicants for Scholarships from the
Barbara Mosteller Scholarship Fund

For several years, the CFMA Golf Outing has been held in honor of Barbara Mosteller, with portions of the proceeds going into the Barbara Mosteller Scholarship Fund.  This year is no different and we hope you will join us at the Golf Outing.  As most of you know, Barbara was an active member of CFMA and a dynamic and respected member of the industry.  The Scholarship Fund has been established in her memory to help individuals pursue a career in construction financial management.

The Scholarship Committee is actively seeking qualified applicants.  The Committee will award one or more $1,000 scholarships to reimburse tuition costs not otherwise paid by the candidates’ employer or another scholarship.  Applicants must satisfy all of the below requirements to be eligible for a scholarship:

1.      Applicant must reside and/or work in the geographic area serviced by the CFMA Philadelphia Chapter.

2.      Applicant must have successfully completed 12 college or university credit hours.

3.      Applicant must be (1) enrolled in a program leading to a degree from a college or university that represents a commitment to construction financial management or (2) be enrolled in a degree program at a college or university and possesses actual industry experience in construction financial management.

4.      Applicants may not be members of CFMA (family members are eligible).

The Scholarship Committee hopes that you will publicize the availability of this scholarship to your current employees and any other potential candidates.  To qualify, applications must be submitted by June 4, 2008.
