Presidents Message -
Summer 2008
Our calendar is full of programs and
opportunities for education and networking for the rest of the
year. As the construction industry slows, insurance markets
hardening, prices escalating, banks tightening up lending-all of
these present reasons for being actively involved in CFMA. Our
September seminar on Benchmarking Your Financials is an
excellent opportunity to see how your firm measures up to its
peers.
October is Membership Awareness Month.
Please bring a prospect! This year each member is invited to
bring one prospect free of charge. Look for complete
information on our registration flyer.
Our Gala Committee has begun working on next
year’s event. We are responding to some suggestions from youas
a result of our survey. Changes to the process are being made
and we look forward to another exciting event. Stay tuned….
In closing I want to thank the Golf
Committee for another sell out event. Thanks for all the hard
work that goes into making this our largest fundraiser each
year. This year we were able to award 2 students $2,000 each
toward their college tuition.
