Over 180 people attended the 2^nd Annual Philadelphia Chapter of CFMA Construction Executive of the Year Gala on Saturday, April 5, 2008 at the Union League in Philadelphia.  Three finalists were honored in the Construction Executive of the Year category:

Robert Cottone, President/CEO
IMC Construction Inc.

John J. Donnelly, CEO
L.F. Driscoll Company

A. Ross Myers, CEO
American Infrastructure

"Criteria for selection as the Executive of the Year included the nominee's role in the growth of his company, his role in bringing about innovation within his company and within the construction industry, community involvement and other noteworthy accomplishments.  We were very fortunate to have three strong candidates, each representing a different segment of the construction community," said Mike Viens, Director, CBIZ Accounting, Tax & Advisory Services, LLC, and Chairman of the Executive of the Year Gala.

It is our pleasure to announce that A. Ross Myers, was named the  winner of the 2008 Construction Executive of the Year Award.

This year, we added another award to the event, the Specialty Contractor of the Year. Three finalists were honored in this category:

It is our pleasure to announce that James Dolente, Sr, was named the
winner of the 2008 Specialty Contractor of the Year Award.

In addition to naming the Executive of the Year, Faith McDermott of Thoma Inc.,
was named the General Member of the Year.

Rick Huber of Safeco Surety,
was named the Associate Member of the Year.
