FAQs - CFMA at Spring Creek – The Annual Retreat
for Incoming Chapter Presidents

RegistrationCFMA at Spring Creek

Who can attend Spring Creek?
Individuals who have committed to serve as chapter president during the year following the retreat date and current chapter presidents who intend to serve a second consecutive term are eligible. This is not a spouse/guest event.

When and where is the next retreat?
Session 1: October 4-7, 2008 / Session 2: October 9-12, 2008 at The Wort Hotel in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Is the Spring Creek Program eligible for CPE?
Yes.  Attendees receive 16 CPE creidts.

How does the registration process work?
Two sessions, open to the first 25 registrants of each session who provide the registration fee, are planned each year. Every effort is made to accommodate session preferences; however, slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. As such, those with demanding schedules should register early.

What does Spring Creek cost?

  • Accommodations and retreat facilitators are funded by the $1,495 registration fee and the generous sponsorship of Arch Insurance Group.

  • All sessions, activities, group meals, and reception functions are provided through CFMA.

  • Air travel costs to Jackson are the responsibility of the chapter/ attendee.

What travel arrangements are needed?
Airfare and other travel arrangements are the responsibility of the chapter, attendee, or attendee’s company. CFMA recommends Travelers Choice (610-933-1100) for travel arrangements; however, participants should wait for session confirmation before finalizing travel plans.
