Having your own
chapter Web site is as easy as 1-2-3!
Just follow these three easy steps:
-
Visit the CFMA Web site to download the Chapter
template
here or at
http://www.cfma.org/chap/docs/chapter_template/header.zip.
-
Develop your site’s content using the template
provided in Microsoft FrontPage 2000 or newer. You may
change the titles of the pages as you see fit; the
template provides five customizable pages – you may
use all of them or only two or three, depending on
your needs.
-
Save the pages and send your complete updated
template via email to CFMA's webmaster at
webmaster@cfma.org.
The
standard chapter template consists of five pages: Home,
Members, Events, Publications, and History. All of
these pages can be customized at the chapter’s
discretion, as long as the content is in accordance with
the Chapter Affiliation Agreement and other HQ
policies. Specific questions regarding content may be
directed to
bsummers@cfma.org. There is no cost to chapters for
the standard template. However, there will be a monthly
hosting fee assessed for sites that exceed 10MB of
space. See “CFMA
Web Fees” for details.
Looking for ideas on web content? Please take a moment
to visit our Chapter List page at
http://www.cfma.org/chap/list.asp and check out what
other chapters have done with their sites.
It’s that easy!
Headquarters will upload your files, check the
hyperlinks you’ve created, and notify you of your
chapter’s specific URL address.
Your chapter’s Web site will be added to the CFMA site
within five business days of our receipt of the files.
Follow the aforementioned steps any time you wish to
update the content of your Web pages.
If
your chapter currently has a website and you do not wish
to use the template provided, please email your URL
address to
webmaster@cfma.org, and we will link from the
national site to yours.
If
you do not have the resources available at the chapter
level to create/update/maintain your chapter site, CFMA
Headquarters will provide this service to you at no
charge. Please contact
webmaster@cfma.org
for details.
If
you have any questions or require assistance, please
contact CFMA's webmaster at Headquarters [webmaster@cfma.org
or 609-452-8000].
