Held at CFMA’s Annual Conference & Exhibition, during CFMA at Spring Creek, and at the request of CFMA’s chapters, the Workshops let participants discuss chapter issues and learn a variety of practical, effective best practices successfully used by chapters across the country.

The Workshops also:

• Orient leaders to the responsibilities of group management.  

• Provide a cohesive, step-by-step approach to chapter operations.

• Develop communication skills and methods.

• Build effective meeting management skills.

• Improve communication between the local chapters and CFMA Headquarters.

• Provide leadership training, while teaching leadership styles and exploring ways to recognize and develop leadership in others.

• Offer an opportunity for participants to discuss membership growth, recruitment, and renewal; ability/willingness of members to assume leadership roles (team building); programming; and other pertinent issues.
