CFMA's Twin Cities’ Chapter has been giving out scholarship endowments and annual scholarships to local colleges with a strong accounting program.  We have raised significant funds through our annual golf tourney in August, by the generous sponsorships of our members and friends, and through the golfers themselves.

Over lunch at the 2nd Annual CFMA Day, we were able to recognize the 5 student guests we had with us during the day and we were able to present Jim Dwyer representing St John's University a $50,000 endowment for future scholarships to accounting majors with an interest in construction/real estate.  With this endowment and 2 - $2,500 concurrent scholarships also awarded this year, our scholarship fund has given a total of $239,000 in scholarships and endowments in the 10 years since it was started in 1997!
