HISTORY The Niagara Frontier Chapter was formed in 1992 with approximately 15 founding members. Currently, the Chapter has over 50 members and is thriving. Its mission is to facilitate the exchange of ideas and information in a non-competitive environment. From the start, the Chapter has participated in the National Chapter Recognition Awards, receiving the Presidents Award for Excellence in Chapter Operations on several occasions. The members meet regularly for social programs, including an annual golf outing and holiday party. Proceeds from the golf outing fund go to an endowment for two scholarships awarded annually to deserving local college students. The annual holiday party benefits Toys for Tots. In addition, the membership participates in site visits of high profile local projects. The Niagara Frontier Chapter of CFMA consistently achieves its objective of being the leading source and resource of financial management information for its members.
